is offensive.
It's offensive to the people out there actually doing it.
When you get people in their videos telling you how to get traffic in 10 easy steps - it's just NOT that simple.
SEO isn't easy.
So you wrote a blog and got traffic - great, but, REAL SEO is about focusing on traffic that makes money, not fucking vanity traffic.
Does a client earn money, pay bills, pay wages, make a margin on a shit load of blogs that you sent over?
SEO isn't easy.
To justify SEO, many will resort to content at BLOG level to compensate.
True SEO is about going after the terms that makes money.
That's NOT EASY.
Going after terms with higher commercial intent means you need to do SO much more than writing a blog on how to clean your dishwasher or 10 ways to make your cat look fluffy.
You have to evaluate the domain,
You have to compare pages for target queries
You have to eliminate cannibalisation
You have to create page clusters
You have to make sure your content meets specific requirements be it E-A-T, MEDIC, YMYL
You have to make sure your content satifies user intent
You have to structure your content so that it doesn't look like horseshit to flies
You have to make sure your page renders quickly and properly
You have to organise content in such a way that it engages
You have to encourage positive user behaviour
You have to provide sub links to relevant content
You have to prop up internal content with external links
You have to compete for rich snippets
You have to run last mile SEO tests to move the needle
You have to increase CTR
You have to experiment with title and description changes
You have to make sure your mobile page experience is good
You have to make sure everything that surrounds your page is intuitive
You have to garner consumer trust with reviews
You have to bolster your website with other trust factors
You have to maintain sufficient content and link velocity
You have to cull pages, update pages, move things around
You have to make sure your page renders in numerous conditions
You have to make sure content isn't cannibalised
You have to make sure your TOV/CCV is good
You have to persist if things do not move
You have to wait for core updates
You have to keep your client reassured
You have to keep your resource paid
You have to keep paying for your SEO Tools
Watching "SEO is easy" videos is bullshit.
SEO isn't easy.
The culture isn't easy.
Finding good SEO resource isn't easy.
Stop watching the marketing gimmicks that lure you in with a false premise.
Do not learn the hard way.
SEO takes time, patience, persistence, sufficient budget, real concerted efforts, client collaboration.
You think a 10 minute video of someone telling you quick hacks is enough to make it as an SEO?
Think again.
Here just trying to save people new to the market the headache of getting it wrong.
